Delphi Consensus – EchoLaser SoracteLite

Consequent to the rapid increase of the hospitals where EchoLaser SoracteLite is used to treat BPH, Elesta has initiated a national project for the elaboration of a Delphi Consensus (which will be submitted for publication), aiming at standardizing the way this innovative treatment modality is performed. The project will be managed by a group of urologists of the Careggi hospital in Florence and by a scientific board whose members are the principal investigators of the Italian prospective studies (some of which have been already published and others are still enrolling patients).
New CPT Code Has Been Approved by the AMA for Transperineal Laser Ablation of the Prostate

Effective from July 1, 2022, the specific CPT code will allow EchoLaser SoracteLite treatment to spread quickly, with benefits for hospitals, payers and most of all patients.
